Lorenzo Montanari


Lorenzo Montanari is Vice President of the international affairs at the Americans for Tax Reform Foundation (ATR) and Executive Director of the Property Rights Alliance (PRA) an advocacy group affiliated with ATR for the protection of trade, physical and intellectual property rights, both domestically and internationally.

As VP of the international affairs, Mr. Montanari developed advocacy network such as the Taxpayers Leaders Forum (TLF); the Coalition Leaders Forum (CLF) and the International Coalition Meeting (ICM) in partnership with Acton Institute. He organized training workshops in Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia. On the international stage, PRA works closely with famed property rights champion and President of the Institute for Liberty and Democracy (ILD) in Lima, Peru, Hernando de Soto and other 118 think tanks. At Property Rights Alliance, he is the Editor of the International Property Rights Index an of the International Trade Barrier Index two international comparative study focus on intellectual and physical property rights and trade.

He also served from 2004-2008 as a Private Chair at the International Relations Task Force at the Americans Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). Previously, Montanari worked for a public affairs firm and for the international department of the GSPM/George Washington University in Washington, DC as well as a political analyst and electoral observer in Latin America. Montanari holds a BA in Political Science, a MA in International Relations from the University of Bologna and MA in Political Management from the George Washington University. He collaborates with Forbes, The Daily Caller, The Urban Folks (Japan). He is a board member of the European Conservative Magazine.
